This past summer, I bought my first Panasonic Lumix camera after being a long time fan of Sony Cybershots, and I can honestly say I’m super impressed.

I purchased the Lumix DMC-FX35k (black) that you see on the right side of my blog, and it’s built like a tank. Is very svelt, and records HD Video!

Here’s a sample of the video recording of me going down an indoor ski slope:

Tho when I bought it, I really wanted the Lumix DMC-FX500 because it had a 3″ touch screen, but I coudlnt’ justify the $60 price increase for that, so I settled.

Well today you don’t have, it turns out prices have gone way down and now the FX500 is only $170 on Amazon, while my FX35k is $184! How weird is that?

Anyways I was helping a friend choose a camera, and guided her to the FX500, the one that got away from me… *sigh*.

If you’re so inclined and looking for a solid digital camera for a great price, you too can get in on the action!

A friend just informed me the price as of 4/27 is $158! Pretty good deal if you ask me.
